Cabling and Bracing Systems

Cabling and bracing of a tree is sometime necessary to prevent failure. Our risk assessment professionals will inspect and determine the best course of action for your trees.

Cables and brace rods are supports intended to reduce the risk of failure on weak branches and multiple stems. Cables are exactly as it sounds, extra high strength steel that’s attached with bolts in the exact place to ensure your trees integrity.  These cables are intended to limit the movement of the supported branches so they are less likely to fail during a storm.

Braces are different, they are threaded rods installed through unions of weak branches and multiple stems that provide a more rigid support from twisting forces. When we have strong winds or storms these braces help eliminate tree damage. Shamrock Tree Service experts have developed cabling and bracing methods based on years of experience and service.
